so many canister sets I have owned do not have good, tight fitting lids..this set has excellent lids that fit air tightly. there are rubber rings around the lid that allows them to fit tight, yet easy to pop off when you need to get inside. the color is spot on as shown and the canisters are heavy and durable. I don't have a single chip or crack in them and I have had them a long time. very durable, pretty canister set for not a lot of money.
