This rug pad came nicely rolled and flattened fairly well except for a center fold which took a while to flatten. It’s quite a bit thinner than the other pad I purchased from Great Offer Stock for less money. While this seems serviceable, I’m not sure if I’m going to use it under my new living room rug or purchase another one of the thicker pads.

Great low profile reversible rug pad!
I was looking for a low profile dual pad to put under an area rug and this was exactly what I was looking for. This pad has a rough side to grip the rug and a latex coated side to protect hardwood floors, etc. Since it is thin, it is susceptable to bunching up if you don't lay it completely flat before you lay down the rug. It doesn't provide much padding compared ot other pads but if you're needing a thin rug pad that's still reversible then look no further.

We've had this rug pad in our living room for 3 years. Just took out our rug to have it professionally cleaned and the rubber backing on this has discolored and ruined our hardwoods and left a residue. To be fair, our hardwoods are original to a 100 year old house and we have 4 kids. But I've always been diligent about cleaning up any spills (carpet surface, under carpet, top of rug pad and under rug pad) and don't even allow food or drinks in there, so not sure what caused this. You can see the pattern and a fine layer of the rubber imprinted in spots all over our floor. Devastated.

Works good - one side is rougher for the non-slip - the other a bit softer. Easy to trim down to fit rug - with scissors. Took a bit to flatten out - did once I got the rug on top of it.

This rug pad is definitely not going to add cushion to a rug but it does the job well of keeping the rug in place on my hardwood floors. I like that it sticks well to the hardwood and the top texture is not soft which I think also helps keep the rug tight where I want it.
