great buy for the price This rug pad isn't the thickest out there, but it does provide a noticeable cushion and improvement in comfort. My rugs do not slip at all - I trimmed this pad to a 5x8 size and used the remainder for smaller rugs. Even the ones with lots of foot traffic don't budge! I would purchase again.

Easy to trim down I purchased this to accompany a 7 x7 wool rug I bought. I'm using it on luxury vinyl plank (or LVT) floors, with the felt side touching the rug itself. So far so good. Because my rug is an awkward size, it was very difficult to find the exact size pad I needed, but I was able to easily use scissors (granted, they weren't wimpy) to trim it down to size. The pad is relatively thin, so don't expect much of a height difference with it.

I do not recommend this item. I do not recommend this item. I ordered this reversible pad after viewing a similar item in a showroom, and I thought, I would save some money. I was shocked to see the poor quality of this item. It was very thin. The rubber backing would just fall off in to little flecks as it brushed up against anything. I tried to flip the pad over to use the felt side against the hard wood floor and it was scratchier than the rug I purchased to use it with. My only recommendation for use of this pad would be on a surface that you don’t care about, such as a concrete floor.
