You get what you pay for cheap quality

I read a lot of reviews saying it was 'cheap' and 'poor quality' - but this dresser for only $* or so is exactly what you'd expect. If you're looking for a solid wood, or solid backed dresser, you won't find it here. What you will find is a sturdy, nicely colored dresser that when put together correctly is very nice. I put it together with a friend in just under 1.5 hours. I would absolutely recommend this for a standard, simple dresser!

i was happy to see many good reviews so i went with this one. once i opened it it was damaged from the bottom i was very disappointed i know it would be a hassel to request a new piece..... i will be very cautious in buying any furniture online.

This set actually looks pretty nice when it is put together, but it will take a few hours. It is what I would call "Sauder type". It is partial board and very heavy.

Low quality... I am so disappointed because it was really hard to assemble and then I could use it just for a couple of weeks before the draws were falling apart.

Looks as beautiful as in the picture. Drawers open perfectly.

Every time I open a drawer, the bottom or sides fall off. The drawers do not sit in the skeleton straight...drawers are crooked when placed in the unit.

This dresser is very poorly constructed. I bought it for my daughter and it falls apart, literally, every time she closes the drawers. Would never purchase again and very disappointed in purchase. She threw out packaging so can't return it. I am a regular Great Offer Stock customer and am rarely dissatisfied, but this dresser is a definite "don't buy".

This is such horrible quality. As soon as you put some clothes in the drawers, they cave. the flimsy floor of drawers caves and you can't even close the drawers. I am so disappointed in this purchase. HORRIBLE.

looks good, hardware is nice. Not sturdy enough for kids, but good for quest room. Ok for the price. instructions for assembly could be clearer, but was fairly easy for one person

Tall with lots of storage. We use for two peoplr. Does chip easily though.

this was easy to assemble, and i feel that it will last a long time. the drawers glide well and it feels solid. I have 3 rows of jeans in one drawer, and I don't feel the bottom will come loose. My only issue is the grey finish - it really looks more like house paint than wood grain. If you're trying to go for a distressed / weathered look, you may be disappointed.

I am very disappointed in the quality of this item and the quality of Overstock's customer service. I have put this item together with several defective parts, parts that didn't fit, and the dresser is wobbly and unstable. I would avoid any of this series of put together yourself furniture. I recommend to Great Offer Stock they remove from their inventory. I would like to hear back from them about its return--nearly 2 weeks I have not yet heard back regarding the refund of this item. After years of being a loyal customer, I am not very happy with this purchase.

Very cheap...drawers bottom falling apart.

I needed a small dresser for my guest bedroom and didn't want to spend a lot. This $* dresser is a good buy if you don't care how flimsy it feels. Assembly wasn't too difficult. One piece arrived damaged but there was a flyer inside with a big 800 number to call in case of damage, and they cheerfully and quickly replaced the part at no charge. I'm 100% satisfied with this piece and the only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because it simply isn't a high-quality piece. But you get what you pay for. If you want a $1200 dresser, go buy one. =)

The first one we received had a piece severely broken. The second one was fine. Looks great once assembled and drawers open and close smoothly. It took one hour to assemble.

Easy to assembly but delivery had made some dent in wood..Very nice looking drawer with furniture

Having two people to assemble makes a big difference, definitely tough with one person. Overall a good dresser, great size, and color is true to the picture. Wish backing for dresser was another piece of wood (is thick cardboard nailed to close the back).

It took a bit of effort to put together, mostly because I have no power tools, but the directions were clear and all parts were present. It looks nice despite being laminate. even comes with a touch up pen, which I laughed at, but it actually works well, and there weren't too many places that needed it thankfully
