Like many, many, many reviewers before me I have to say putting this bed together was a pain! My husband has a whole workshop full of tools. He's put together most of the furniture in our house. Let me tell you, the amount of cursing I heard from him as he was assembling. Woozer! Plus towards the end, he need my help. So, keep that in mind! It's going to take two at least. It attached fairly easily to our metal frame--though we did use books to sustain the lift while bolting in. Lastly, for assembly advice I'll mention that we purposefully bounced on the bed to see if it was sturdy enough and that there weren't any issues. We noticed some wall banging. So, we added some command strips to the back to sort of secure (I use that term loosely) it. Seems to have helped with reducing noise. Then end result is really nice though. It blends well with our brown black furniture that we bought from another retailer of Scandinavian descent. I only mention that in case you're trying to match as well. All in all, happy with the end result. The journey was rough though!

Exactly what I wanted! Super easy to assemble!!

Although one piece arrived damaged, I was able to reach customer service on a Sunday and they sent out a new one. Shipping time was a little lengthy (took 2 weeks) but once I received it it only took us about an hour to assemble. Looks great! I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This bed looks even better in person! It is super heavy and very nice quality! The only drawback is that it came in a skinny narrow box in about 20 pieces and took a couple of hours to put together. Once together, it was absolutely worth it!

Item came as described. Took an hour to built it myself. Looks great BUT the thin strip across the center of the headboard is not secure since it came out of the box. Which exposed multiple thin nails. They should had glued it or use longer nails to secure it to the strip. Just hope it wont fall down on me while we are sleeping or bang our heads to the expose nails.

I put it together slowly over a two day period. It is extremely heavy, solid wood and great quality. There were a few pieces of chipped wood but it ended up being completely covered once I finished. I love love love it. They even include a touch up pen in case you scratch up the wood while putting it together. Overall a great buy and great quality for the price.

Very contemporary and functional. However, it is very heavy, so ask for assistance when assembling.

Looks fantastic and is very sturdy. Had a little chip in it upon delivery but the mattress and pillows covered it up. Very happy with this purchase, no buyers remorse.

The headboard looks decent from a distance but are pretty cheaply made up close. Also it only had holes for a standard king size bed frame, not a cal king.

Brought King headboard, picture looked like it came with footboard too. Footboard is not available for King Size...very disappointed!

I am a veteran of many ready to assemble furniture items. This is the single worst that I have encountered. Half the hardware was missing. Embarrassingly cheap. After a trip to Home Depot for parts and halfway through the assembly. I decided to scrap the entire idea. Will be cutting it up for the trash. Didn't bother to return because of the hassles of reboxing and shipping. Just chalking it up lessen learned.

My teen son wanted this because he liked the lights. It looks high end. The only difficult part was the assembly, but that's how most items are these days.

The product looks nice overall. However, unless you want to spend hours of your time installing this, I would steer clear. There were also pieces of the laminate peeling off after removing it from the box.

some parts came in damage and the wood is like ply wood; however the replacement parts was better quality than the original ply wood they shipped out at first

Beautiful headboard! Adds style to our bedroom.

It's only the headboard we have to order the frame from the company. It took about 3 weeks to get. I guess this is what I get for letting my husband shop for our new home. The bed turned out wonderful. He and a friend put it together in 3hrs. Read directions very carefully.

This headboard came in MANY pieces and is very heavy! It took my husband and I about 3 hours to assemble. We found out we had used the wrong screws so had to go back, take some of the pieces apart and use the correct screws so that we had enough of everything to complete the task. So, a word to the wise, check all your hardware before you begin. Some screws are very much alike. We do love the end result!

There was one mark where the finish was messed up. but nothing big. The ledge is awesome for remotes. The lights are nice and the finish looks good. Happy with it for the price.
