Last Summer I installed in my garden, a very authentic granite Natsume Water Stone and bamboo Shishi Odoshi (Deer Scarer) fountain. I have no electrical outlet that far from the house, so I used this solar powered water pump to run it. The solar panel keeps the lead/acid battery charged fairly well, but don't expect too much in this respect. When it is running, it is very effective and the control box even has a plug for an included LED light. This control box is designed to work as a timer, to turn the pump on and off at specific hours. My unit's timer feature has never worked at all. I have to plug in and unplug the pump jack in order to turn the pump on and off. This is a royal pain. There is also an "auto" setting but the manual doesn't even address this feature, which apparently does not work either. Speaking of manuals, this one is poorly translated from the Chinese and is not easy to understand. Furthermore, nowhere is the name of the manufacturer included in the documentation, or any kind of warranty. So, you're stuck with this if it proves to be broken or otherwise unsatisfactory.. It is NOT inexpensive, so even though it does work, sort of, I couldn't recommend this product. Sorry.

Controller problems right from the start. Solar Panel worked Pump worked but the controller never operated properly. Once the battery lost all it's power the pump stopped.

The system only lasted four months. The manufacturer's warranty is only 60 days. Be ware.

I used it for one day then it stopped working the way it should.

great little pump. I am using it to flow a small waterfall from my pond and it pumps exactly as it says it would. I love the timer feature it goes on in the evening when I get home from work to relax

I purchased this product to use with a previously purchased electric powered fountain. The fountain is in a location that is not convenient for electrical power so I went with the solar power. The fountain is roughly 4 ft tall so I needed a pump with enough power to lift water at least that high. Overall this pump has been very satisfactory. It was easy to set up and has plenty of power to lift the water the desired height. The solar pump will work on overcast days but sometimes it is cranky the next sunny day and will keep cutting off until it gets recharged. I would recommend this pump.

Needed a fountain for a water feature in the yard, had to have one that lights up at night for after work. This pump fired up right out of the box, has various levels of water to shoot, and had a timer setting so that it comes as I get home for work. I've read some reviews that it crapped out after a few months but so far so good.

I upgraded from a puny solar fountain I found 5years ago - it did the basic move the water BUT If you want to have the fountain running in the evening too this is one is great. The flow is adjustable and on/off plus a timer is really convenient. My neighbors are laughingly calling my place the Bellagio now.

It was basically a choice between this system and a very similar system available on eBay. The eBay system boasted a 10 watt solar panel, but the motor only sported a total water lift height of 1.5 meters. This system boasts a water lift height of 2 meters. This was critically important, not because I need to lift water that height, but it indicates the power of the pump mechanism. My requirements were to lift water slightly over 1/2 meter, but this pump does a fantastic job on my water fountain. The water fountain I got from the local Lowe's came with an AC electric water pump. I ran it for a week with an extension cord on my patio, until this solar system arrived. The final destination for the water fountain was in the very rear of the back yard against the fence that separates our back yard from our neighbor's side yard. I was loathe to run electrical wire underground from the house to the location of the water fountain, hence the solar setup. I mounted the solar panel on top of the fence, hooked everything up and it was working within 1/2 an hour. This 12v pump at 55gph is just as powerful as the AC pump that came with the fountain. The battery seems to hold a charge that will allow the pump to run for a couple of hours before it runs out of juice. If you just let it charge for a couple of day, it'll run for many hours. Maybe at some point down the road, I might replace the battery with a larger wet-cell battery designed for a small ride-on tractor or a motorcycle so that the battery can supply juice longer to the motor. Otherwise, it works great.

I have a 6' tall electric powered fountain with 37" of water lift height and I was very sceptical about available solar product on the market and whether or not it was capable of doing the job I needed. After spending a couple weeks of online research I settled on this one with Great Offer Stock as it really appeared to be the best deal. I was delightlyfully surprised. This arrived well packaged and the install was very simple. All components are of very good quality and I was surprised to see just how powerful this pump is. At it's highest adjustable setting, it actually pushes water a good two inches above the top spout of my fountain. It's been installed for a month now and runs like a champ whenever I turn it on. My only concern is that the battery and controller housing doesn't look like a completely weather tight seal to me, so I think I'll be fabricating some extra protection for it. Also, Great Offer Stock needs to add the dimensions of the pump to the decription as those of us who intend to retrofit electric powered fountains have space limitations to consider in the fountain basin.

Although it's not what it was supposed to be, it's still a very nice unit. Solar panel is very large and appears extremely sturdy. It has an aluminum frame & the panel is glass, not plastic that cheaper units use. The panel should outlast the pump itself. The battery/control unit is very compact & easy to hide, and with the long cords provided to the pump, panel & light, can be put just about anywhere. Only comes with 2 heads for the fountain, but this is a standard size nozzle, so finding other spray patterns shouldn't be that difficult. The instruction manual is extremely limited, but unit functions are pretty self explanatory. Anyone should be able to figure out it's operation, even without a manual. Not exactly what it was supposed to be, but well worth it anyway.

IT has timer set installed on the pump? what is the maximum hour or minute set? it has frequency?

It works but I expected more for the price I paid.

If you want a pump system that will work for a month or two -- this is your pump. Ours worked beautifully for about two months and then the battery fried. Unfortuntately, it can't work without the battery. Very disappointing because it wasn't cheap!

Never could get the timer to work accurately. Solar light only worked twice. Pump malfunctioned after 2 months of use.

We were pleasantly surprised at the easy assembly of the pump. It works well for our needs and even cleared the small fish pond thru the filter.(155 gallon) We will purchase another when we move to AZ.

Extremely easy to install. Once I exposed the two panels to the sun, they were able to power the pump for two days, an entire weekend and it was kind of cloudy. I hesitated because of the price, compared to other products costing around ***, but now I understand the difference in price. This thing works and works well.
