We bought this last winter living in Buffalo where we get pounded. Our previous winter was HELL and we shoveled several times a day all winter long. We got feet and feet of snow. In November of 2014 we got so much snow in some areas peole's roofs were caving in, people died. It was crazy. I had enough but we didn't have a lot of money and the reviews on this were decent. It can easily be handled by someone who isn't strong to get the job done. I have yet to use it or any snowblower for that matter but my husband wasn't impressed. He said it was much better than shoveling but if you have several inches or fee, this paddle style isn't going to cut it. This is more for a dusting or a couple inches of that non heavy wet snow. The battery also does NOT last nearly as long as they claim it will. We also have a different branded lawnmower and weed whacked that also have rechargeable lithium ion batteries and they don't last as long as they claim either so I'm not sure why the companies lie about it.
My biggest complaint about this thing is the manufacturer's way of packaging it. You can see there is a foam handle wrap on the machine. We got it and I immediately noticed it was dented very bad and had a tiny tear in it. I complained and Great Offer Stock replaced it and the replacement was even worse, it was torn right through to the metal and flappy. I paid closer attention this time and when I unboxed it I noticed they have it sitting directly on a piece of plastic edge so the whole time it's being shipped all over the country and other boxes placed on top it's rubbing and tearing it. They need to put a piece of cardboard or styrofoam or something in between to prevent this. I am contacting the company about it to see what they can do because Great Offer Stock isn't going to keep allowing returns based on this since it isn't their fault, it's the company itself and a poor packaging job.
