Very sturdy and beautiful. It took a while to put together, but it was well worth it.

It is a nice addition to my kitchen but the some of the pieces did not match accordingly. The drawers were chipped when they arrived. The screws are labeled accordingly.

The picture doesn't do this kitchen cart justice. It's beautiful I have it in my dining room/kitchen looks amazing I love it .... it holds a lot of stuff you would be surprised.

Be prepared for a lengthy build. There were a lot of individual pieces to put together, but I am truly impressed with the finished product. Very sturdy construction once everything is in place. Initially I was skeptical and thought I would need wood glue as some had suggested. You do not need so do not waste your time with it like I did. For the price and quality, I dodged a bullet by opting for this piece rather than buying a similar one at Crate and Barrell. Thanks Overstock!

Although it took my grown stepson about 8 hours to put together, I absolutely love it. Now my grandkids will sit at the island watching TV in the kitchen while snacking without arguing about it. I think they like it more than I do. We did request the front of one of the drawers that the paint was scratched off from the people who made it , but have not heard anything back/

Ordered this a while ago, but was pretty scared to open up the box after reading some reviews. My boyfriend finally decided to tackle this and put it together. He is a carpenter by profession and it took him about 3 hours to assemble this alone. We did not have any discolored pieces or miss-sized pieces but we did have a few parts that were pretty badly scratched. The top piece was covered in long bad scratches, thankfully they are not as visible. The drawers were scratched up as well, but thankfully I ordered the black and its not as visible. After these things, i actually love this island. It's really sturdy, it was just what my mini kitchen needed and it's pretty spacious. I would love to recommend this to others, but the scratches and assembly might turn them away. Glad I bought this on sale. Forgot to mention, the magnet was not working and the door would not stay closed, something my boyfriend was able to fix. But i cannot imagine dealing with these issues without having someone to fix it for free!

It wasn't the worst furniture assembly ever, but there were pieces missing and some that had to be altered to make it work. But it does look quite nice and seems to do the job.

took awhile to put together, but follow the directions piece by piece and you will have no problem. it is a very pretty, functional and well made piece.

The cart is exactly what we wanted! It came shipped on time and in good condition. It took my husband about 3 hours to assemble. It looks just like the pictures, is high quality and sturdy! So nice!

Turned out great! Two ladies put it together but needed a little man power only with putting the screws attaching the casters to the base.

The drawers glides are the greatest, and the drawers jump when they get half way open when they are empty. I haven't filled them, so don't know what effect putting any weight in them will have. My guess is they aren't perfect aligned, but since the glides are all pre-installed, there is no adjustment. It is a bit flimsy feeling, and the doors hinges (again pre-installed) don't align perfectly so one door is higher than the other.

Very happy with item. Perfect size for smaller space. The top of the Island is much better than I thought it would be. I love the the extra space from the fold down top it is perfect for what I need.

This is a really perfect piece of furniture especially for a small area!

I put this kit together myself over the course of two days. I had to request parts to replace a drawer and a vital cross bar. The schematic drawings were not very clear, and even I had to stop and think about whether I had things facing the right way or not. (I am a former architectural draftsman.) I would also suggest that a small tube of wood glue be included for the dowels to ensure that the bonds hold tight. It feels sturdy enough and should hold together for a long time.

I ordered this for my very tiny temporary kitchen as an alternative to having table and chairs. It was very easy to put together, the instructions were very clear, and it has so much storage. It is incredibly sturdy! The drop leaf offers plenty of space for eating and I can still store a few things on the counter if I want to. Whenever I need more space, I just flip the leaf down and roll it over. This is exactly what I wanted and needed.
