This is a beautiful shower system: the doors are heavy, the hinges are also heavy and beautiful and it is a perfect surround for showing off a nice tile design. I only gave it a four-star rating, however, because it was a bit of a challenge for my experienced builder to put in (he had never put in a Dreamline before) and because of its size. First of all, it will most likely take a strong, big guy to install this alone as the doors are really heavy (which is a good thing). Secondly, when first installed, the shower leaked a bit. My builder had to make some adjustments with the bottom chrome glass holders and the seal and then reapply the silicone. When he did, it no longer leaked. Also, the shower head I originally had was too big for the shower, so I got a small, cheap, and ADJUSTABLE cone-shaped chrome shower head, and it works perfectly. To note, I had a neo-angle shower before which was 36" x 36" as compared to this one which is 34.375" x 34.375". Amazingly, this slightly smaller size shower feels amazingly smaller than the previous one that I had. I am 5'3" and about 129 pounds. I wouldn't want to be much bigger and use this shower on a regular basis...another reason for giving it a "four". Having said all that, I am very pleased with this shower system. We used a Dreamline 36" base with it which is sturdy with no bounce to it as well as having a good grip system to the floor to avoid slippage. Dreamline does provide a support line for installation, but my installer, being a typical man, wasn't going to use the helpline unless he really couldn't figure it out. My shower will get only used by me, most likely, when I have week-end guests, so for a good price and a beautiful shower, I have to say I am quite happy with the result.
