It's a very nice item for mixing liquids, however doesn't mix cookie dough well as this was the reason I purchased it, the mixer is still great for my mashed potatos, but didn't spin well or mix cookie dough

I tested the mixer the 2nd day. It easily mixed stiff cookie batter on the lowest speed. I can't say the noise level was excessive but I did find that the mixer rocked somewhat. The extra-large bowl is a welcome bonus. I would and have recommended it to others.

Ordered the Shamrock professional stand mixer as a back-up to my Artisan Kitchen Aid. Mixer lags to start but does ok after it begins mixing. Like the very large bowl but the attachments appear to be not as sturdy as my KA and the paddle chipped on first handwashing. This is ok as a backup but I wouldn't depend on it.

Vermiculite nice powerful mixer in beautiful red color. Nice heavy weight metal.

Works well. Lots of power. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it is excessively loud when mixing heavier dough. Maybe I have a damaged unit. I'm thinking I should have spent the extra money and purchased a KitchenAide.

I used it to bake 6 cakes. It worked like a charm. I will buy the attachments.
