I have used this bowl as a centerpiece for my mantle, a punch bowl, a large trifle bowl, and for other desserts; as well as, a salad bowl. Great buy!!!
Nice wooden serving bowl to hold fruit, candies or similar items. Listing says from Indonesia but I also think it has an African feel about it.
I am well pleased with this purchase. The bowl is larger and fancier than I expected. Actually seeing and touching it made the difference. So I won't use it for what I intended, a very large salad to feed myself. But I will definitely use it to serve salad, pasta,etc for a larger party of people. The quality, weight of the bowl, and vibrant colors give the appearance of quality...for such a great price. And...the packing was excellent - no scratch or breaks anywhere.
This serving bowl is well made and the color is a deep aqua color. Very useful.
