The rug is pretty nice. Laid flat very quickly and I like the design, however it could have been a little softer. I thought the pile height was good but the fabric is a little harder than I would like it to be.

Love the look of this rug - unfortunately we've had it for just over a week now, and it STILL won't lay flat! This is definitely not the norm for other Safavieh rugs we have and love. This rug actually feels cheaper than others of the same brand we own.

The light grey/ivory looks quite light blue and ivory. I’m attaching a photo, but it’s even more blue in real life. Return shipping is about $** for this rug in a very large size (for anyone wondering what it would be) Before returning, we laid the rug out to make our decision. The fumes were caustic. When we sat near the rug, my husband and I both had sore throats and I had a headache. The symptoms were relieved when we left the room and started again upon returning. I did some googling and learned that this is called off/gassing and is due to the polypropylene material which releases PFAS and other cancer causing chemicals. I feel horrible that this rug was in my house with my 2 month old baby and my 2 year old.
