I know it said a 6' round pad... but it really should be maybe 5'-8" round to have it fit under a 6' round rug. Otherwise you will be trying numerous times to center the rug exactly on the non-slip pad....
This is just a basic, non-slip rug pad. It's thin and doesn't add to the height of the rug at all. I have it under a table and chairs, so I'm using it more as protection of the wood floor, than the non-slip feature.

Your rug will slip, and you will find yourself surfing the hallway. Better safe than sorry.
Easy to size. Keeps my rug in place. Just what I needed!
The pad is very thin which is exactly what we wanted. Our carpet is in a high traffic area on hardwood and was slipping and turning up at the edge. This pad has made all the difference. It is imperceptible under the carpet and hold it perfectly in place. It doesn't add any cushion to the carpet though.
