Great area rug pad!!
I bought this pad for my new area rug, about 3 weeks ago. I replaced an older rug and under that, I had the rubber type pad and it was always sooooo hard. Well, I found this one from greatofferstock.com and with reading the reviews, decided to try it out. I LOVE IT!!! It makes a world of difference........it is so much softer than before and is so much more comfortable to lay on the floor now. I would recommend this pad to everyone. I went with the "Durable" due to one of the other reviewer's comments and am glad I did. I also thought it was at a fair price. My suggestion to some people would be, "if you want it to feel really, really soft, just like wall to wall carpet, then that is what you need to put down.....not an area rug!" This pad is for an area rug and you will not get that deep sinking feeling when you step on it, but it is soft and if you have had one of the other area rug pads, you will be very glad you bought this one!!!

Thank you Great Offer Stock for including the "Made In USA" red, white, and blue logo. .............................. Of note, the Premium Hard Surface and Carpet Rug Pad (5' x 8') - Item 925720 - was cheaper than the Durable Hard Surface and Carpet Rug Pad (5' x 8') - Item 11990114 - at the time we made our purchase, but in today's economy and with so many fellow citizens out of work, we were happy to buy a MADE IN THE USA product. .............................. Though there was no mention of odor, must admit we were concerned about the materials - Polypropylene and Synthetic Rubber - off-gassing. Heavy, good quality pad
This pad arrived before the rug we ordered, and it was HEAVY to carry into the house. I was impressed by how solid it seems, and it does not slide around on the floor at all. We received the rug, which is a little smaller than the pad, so I cut it down a few inches with a sharp utility knife. It cut smoothly, and there are no uneven edges from the cutting. I can crawl on my hands and knees with our dogs on this without any discomfort to my knees. As our rug is pretty thin, this says something about the pad. I would buy it again.

well worth it for the price and durable, but
This item arrived in a plastic package about 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 feet. when we took the plastic wrap off, we had to unfold the pad to its full dimensions, the only problem was that the pad did not lay completely flat due to the creases created by folding it for the delivery. It had wrinkles that would not come out. we let it lay there for one day, with no change in the wrinkle status, finally my wife took a steam iron and a wet cloth and carefully tried to remove the creases; it was very time consuming, but it worked. Having done that, we finally laid down the carpet down and it is OK now.

Fantastic Rug Pad, it stays in place and keeps rugs from moving around!!! I used this rug under a jute rug and it did a fantastic job of providing a little more cushion as well as anchoring the rug to the ground.
