Creases The pad itself is fine, have a smaller size that came rolled and I have no complaints but this was folded and boxed. Creases are causing an issue and have yet to relax after several weeks. If you have a very heavy rug perhaps it's not an issue but with a thin rug it's causing bubbling all over the place.

Every Rug Oughta Have One I'm pleased with this rug pad. It's thick enough, but not too thick. I've spot-cleaned the rug several times and the water hasn't gone through the rug pad to the floor, thank goodness. I would recommend this rug pad.

Disappointed The picture of this pad does not indicate the very rough texture of the top of this pad. I purchased this pad, based on other reviews, to be placed under an Oriental rugs that I am concerned may be damaged by the rough heavily textured and pointy plastic projections on the pad top. I contacted Great Offer Stock and was told this is the way pads are supposed to be, but I have other rugs with smoother surface tops which I prefer. I also purchased a 5 x 8 of this same product which is much smoother. I will probably not use the pad. Be aware of the textured top.

I did not think this mattered, boy was I wrong I did not think it would be a necessity to buy a rug pad to go under a rug. But wow was I wrong. It makes a huge difference in Comfort to have a rug pad under a rug. Especially when it is as large as this one is. I have another rug pad under a larger rug and the one foot area where it doesn't cover underneath the rug is not near as plush or comfortable. It is definitely worth the purchase.
