I love this rug! It is not plush, but feels good to walk on. So far, It seems to be holding up to my dogs well. The colors in the rug will go well with many different color sofas. For any one wondering if the dark lines are black or blue like I did, they are black.

we'd been looking to replace 2 rugs in our living room for a while now. we fell in love with the fun pattern and color-play on this rug, and the colors which tie in with all the other colors in our living room, and with our overall decorating scheme. we were impressed by the percentage of high reviews, and that was the final deciding factor, but based on a number of other reviewers' experiences, we'd been preparing for them to: 1) not be very soft or plush underfoot 2) have a strong, unpleasant odor, and 3) have lumps/waviness from being rolled up that would take quite some time to flatten out. we decided that we were OK with these things. the rugs came this week, and we put them down today. in real life the pattern and colors are just as fun and funky-traditional as they looked on the website. also, I'm happy to report that 1) they're softer than the wool/jute combo kilim rugs they replaced, even without a carpet pad under it, which we opted not to use because it was going to be secured under the legs of the couch and coffee table 2) the new carpet manufacturing smell is definitely there, as it is with any machine-made carpet, and even tho I'm particularly smell-sensitive, the odor was nothing that just rolling them out and leaving them to air out for 15 minutes on living room floor didn't fix, and 3) there was some initial waviness but once the rugs were in place under the couch and coffee table, and after laying a stack of books on some of the exposed edges that were rolling up, they were mostly flat by the end of this evening. they will probably settle completely overnight. we bought the 2 of the 9' round sized rugs in the grey color. as some other folks mentioned, it's a taupe-y grey rather than a true grey, but we liked that because we have a lot of both greys and browns around the room. I look forward to seeing how the colors appear tomorrow in full sunlight. I only gave it 4 stars because I can't speak to how well they will stand up to the daily abuses of our environment, which includes 6 ill-behaved cats. but these seem to be great-looking, good quality rugs at a reasonable price, and they shipped fast (considering COVID19). I recommend them.

Love the colors, but the rug is a little on the thin side. We have hard wood floors so we did get the Ultra Non-slip Rug Pad and it gave it a little more cushion. It seems to hold up to our animals (please excuse the mess). The rug is beautiful especially with the natural light streaming through the windows!

I was a bit skeptical that this 8 x 10 area rug would look good in my living room. I am delighted that I was wrong. It is exactly what I wanted to go over wall-to-wall carpet. It lies well, the colors are lovely, the packinging was well done, and it arrived a day early. Nice buy for the money!

The cotton warp and weft foundation of an area rug can breakdown when exposed to excessive humidity. Avoid placing plants directly on top of area rugs and immediately blot dry any water spillage. "
