great fan that works well in the horribly oppressive las vegas heat. if you're looking for something that looks attractive however, this one isn't for you!

I have wanted a misting fan for years since we have a pool. I enjoy watching the kids play while I lounge by the pool. This misting fan has allowed me to be able to handle the heat much better. It mists you with water from your hose pipe just enough to keep you cool but not soak you as if you've taken a shower. The oscillating feature is awesome too, it can mist up to two people if they're sitting side by side as well. I highly recommend this fan! It was a bit expensive and that's why It took me so long to splurge on this item. However, the time I can now spend outdoors with my kids is well worth it! Wish I had splurged sooner, my kids even get out of the pool just to lay in front of the misting fan in between swim breaks. It's also well made and once my hubby put it together (which took 10 mins) it has been very sturdy. It comes with extra spray nozzles for the misting in case you lose one or just need a replacement over time and wear.

Ordered this fan for a party, had great reviews. Fan arrived and the plastic housing which holds the blades had a crack on it. Great Offer Stock, took immediate action and sent a replacement part. Replacement part was received yesterday and it has a similar problem, deep scratches on the plastic housing. We did turn it on and it functions fine. I just want a fan that doesn't have a crack or scratches right out of the box!
