The color is more cherry than dark oak, so this table was more red than the dark brown I wanted. It is very sturdy and the perfect size for my space, so overall I am pleased.
So far so good. Put these chairs along with dining room table together a few weeks ago. Sturdy. the seats are comfortable on their own but i purchased seat cushions to protect the wood. the rustic look is a bit overdone in some places i would say. It was easy to put together. Took my husband and i two days to put together four chairs and the table top.
Beautiful table and fits 10 comfortably. Takes some time to assemble but it is sturdy and solid wood.
Love this table, very sturdy and easy to assemble except for the leaf assembly. Nice finish, best table I have ever bought. Feel I will have it for many years.
I love this 100 percent wood table!! Looks great in my dining room! Shipping was fast. Took some time putting together, but I love it!
We love the table but the first time a glass of water spilled it bubbled up :(
The table is the perfect width for our dining room. It came in several pieces, but as long as you go slowly and follow the directions, it is easy to put together. I like the options of putting both leaves on for seating 8-10 or one leave for 6-8 comfortably. If I was to change something, I would change the imprints to make them not look so fake.
This table is pretty great, it's solid wood and you need a cordless screwdriver to put it together. It took my husband and father in law several hours to get it together and make sure it was wood glued and solid. It comes in a lot of pieces. But overall it's a great table and I love it.
This table is sturdy and looks great. It easily seats eight with two leaves. I was a little concerned about assembly after reading a couple reviews, but it went together easily.
A little hard to put together as the other reviews state. Also, be sure you do not put it face down on a surface that can scratch it. I had to buy the stain pens to fix it, but since it is distressed anyway, I hope it will add to the charm. I suggest assembling face down on a blanket. It is a beautiful table once complete.
Very nice table , sturdy and practical. Looks great in our dining room.
Beautiful quality but definitely allow a large amount of time for the intense assembly process. Photo shown with leaves off. Solid wood. Nice color. A few of the “distressed” marking are a bit corny as they are obviously machine made, but not a dealbreaker at all. Great table and can expand to fit enough for a nice size dinner party. We can fit 8 with the chairs we bought from Great Offer Stock without the leaves on. Happy we got it.
Great table with extensions will easily seat 10
This is a cherry oak wood color, it shipped very well except for a few small scratches. It is not a dark brown, very heavy and very attractive. I used different chairs from the set and it works very good. Beautiful would buy again.
Beautiful color! It fits in my dining room perfectly! Assembly takes some time. But the instruction manual was easy to follow.
Purchased this table and the matching bench. Table is honestly a disappointment. Love the bench, but the table top does NOT match it at all. The legs and side pieces match, but the top seems to be a different wood and a duller finish. And if I had seen the “purposeful distressing” in person, I probably would not have bought it. It just looks weird and not like distressing at all. More like some weird tribal designs or something. The same 3 shapes just repeat. On the plus side, it seems very sturdy. It was lot of work to assemble, but instructions were good and I do love a project. Way too much trouble to return.
I was a little intimidated by the reviews saying it was a challenge to put together, but I did it, by myself (female), with no real problems. It's wonderfully solid once it's done. The "rustic markings" are very obviously machined, but over time I'm sure it will become legitimately distressed and they will simply add to the character.
It's not complicated to assemble and looks perfectly fine in our dining room! We bought chairs at Great Offer Stock as well and the result is a very nice look!
This was better than expected. I love the extensions at each end of the table - we use them often! Very convenient. My only gripe is that it's difficult to sit at the end of the table if the extension is not in because the cross bar in between the table legs limits how far a chair can slide in.
We were hoping for a little more when we bought this table. It just doesn't look as nice as we anticipated. The biggest complaint is that you can't push the chairs at the ends of the table underneath it with the leaves removed. These chairs stick out so far that the only way it looks right is to keep the leaves in at all times, which is not what we were looking for.
