This rug pad helps keep yet rug in place and protect the floor. It arrived very title rolled, but after a couple of days it was completely relaxed and laid flat. There was not a noticable odor .

This is an awesome no slip and actually adds padding. I use it under my bathroom round wool rug. Perfect!

It's a rug pad. How worked up can you get over one? It provides good grip and cushioning and I'd buy another of these if I needed to.
