Heavy, Sleek and True Color The color is true to the picture. The finish is very smooth and the color is very rich. The desk is quite heavy. When the original order arrived the box was damaged and the top was scratched and had a small chip right on the top center surface. I called customer service and they are sending a replacement at no extra cost and will have UPS pick up the damaged item. They sent the replacement right away as I received a shipping notification the very next day.

Daughter loves it I was very pleased with the quality. It was easy to assemble by myself and a great pop of turquoise for a grey and yellow 12 year old's room. She is using it as a vanity and so far the finish is holding.

Pretty but scratches easily The desk is very cute but the instructions weren't all that great and it scratches way to easily. Because the pieces are so heavy I don't see how anyone could put it together with out some scratches. Just moving them produced scratches.

Perfect for my NYC apt. My boyfriend put it together and he kept commenting on how good the quality was, especially compared to a lot of pieces I've gotten in the past from IKEA, for example. Assembly was fairly easy, color is definitely turquoise. Great purchase! :)

amazing desk This is a very well made, very well packed desk. I thought at first it might be too "child like" but desk works really well in my studio. Be warned though -- the finish scratches very easily. Lay a towel down when assembling.

larger than it looks I was hesitant to purchase at first as several reviewers mentioned buying it for a child, but at 70 years old, I wanted something fun I could sit at with the computer. The desk is very sturdy and well made. No damage when received and easy to assemble which I did myself. The drawers have metal slides and certainly hold enough stuff for my needs with room left over. It's a nice addition to my guest room/office.

Not bad I love the look of this desk. The top had a small mark on it that looked like it was done when they were finishing the paint and the drawers are hard to pull out and push in but other than that it was good. It's decently constructed and will make a great study place for my daughter.
