This was fairly easy to put together. Item looks very rich and elegant. We love it.

Bought this for a Christmas gift last year and it was more than what I expected and absolutley gorgeous. Power bill did not raise hardly any, and it keeps those cold nights at bay with style. Plus the fireplace is perfect and has different settings for light brightness. A 55" TV fits on top perfect plus the best part is, we are not breaking our necks looking up to watch the TV because it is low profile. One of the best purchases I ever made.

Husband and I are very pleased with this entertainment Center. Our electronic equipment fits on the shelves. The only thing is we were not able to put the backing on the shelves, which isn't a big deal. This allows the equipment to breath and not get too hot. I would highly recommend this item, solid, heavy and well built.

Received the three boxes a day early (yay!) and had no trouble at all putting it all together. The instructions however were missing so I had to go to the manufacturer website to view them. The quality was better than I even expected. One person can assemble alone. The only annoying part (aside from the missing instructions) was that they they forgot to pre-drill four of the holes needed to assemble cabinet and there were also no pre-drilled holes to fasten the firebox to the cabinet. Had to pre-drill them myself but it was no big deal. Overall very satisfied with the product, the look, and the price.

Nice product, however saw this item MUCH cheaper on other sites. Oh well lesson learned!

We received this fast....and in three big boxes. It was well packaged and even though the boxes looked as though they had been through a war zone, not a scratch or dent was had. My husband put it together fairly easy. Instructions weren't hard or convoluted. Only disappointment was, some of our equipment didn't fit into the shelves. Our DVD/Surround sound system doesn't fit at all and our dish receiver BARELY fit. I'm bummed that the shelves aren't wide nor deep enough but it is a beautiful well built piece otherwise. Just make sure to measure your electronics if you want them on the shelves.

Pictures can be hard to tell if it is really what you want but this was perfect!

Wow this is a high quality assemble yourself product. It looks, feels, and projects quality. I have it in my master bedroom with a 65" TV on top of it. I was worried that the fireplace would look cheap but it is a very nice feature. Easy to assemble and the unit fits nice and tight performing as a solid piece of furniture. The finish is outstanding and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Looks nice but couldn't fit some things in there

This was my first time ordering a large piece of furniture online. I was nervous about the color and about it arriving damaged as I had seen so many comments about things being damaged during delivery. The item was perfect! It was simple to put together. It took myself and my boyfriend about an hour. The directions were perfect and it looks GORGEOUS! EVERYONE WHO HAS COME TO MY HOME HAS ASKED WHERE I GOT IT. I am so thoroughly happy with it. The fireplace has different settings for the light of the fire and different settings for the heat temperature. You have the option to use only the light of the fire without the heat which I do daily since I live in Florida. My only concern is that I hope I can keep it for many years to come. I hope that the fireplace continues to work well because I turn it on every day! This entertainment center is a gorgeous dark chestnut color and fits beautifully on a long wall. I would be surprised if you are NOT happy with this purchase. GO FOR IT!

Nice looking. Produces nice heat. Lots of pieces and not all matched up. Not worth that much money but a decent piece.

Item is significantly darker than the picture, more espresso than chestnut oak. It arrived with several small cosmetic flaws and surface scratches. These issues alone are irritating, but not a deal breaker. The color is still acceptable with my décor and the scratches can be touched up. However, the poor quality of the wood and the craftsmanship are what warrant the low rating. The holes drilled in the base pieces are tragically off center. This means the entire unit is angled on the base, with the left protruding roughly an inch farther than the right. This unfortunately could not be noticed until the piece was nearly fully assembled. I am not sure if the following is a result of some of the pieces being mis-cut from a single length, or from the strange angle of the misaligned base, but the front facing pieces above the shelves did not fit properly. One side was too long while the opposite piece was far too short, leaving a gap. I wound up sanding down the one side in order to fit without snapping the wood and placing a backing on the opposite piece so one could not see the light showing through the gap. The firebox suffered a similar fate as a result of the angle, with one side of the front jutting out roughly half an inch farther than the other. There is no way to get it to rest evenly without cutting an angled counter-sink into the frame, which I do not intend to do. There was originally a maddening clicking noise emanating from the box every few seconds when turned on, but this seems to have subsided. The firebox itself blows heat more upward than outward, warming the wood overhang above it. This seems like a critical design flaw. We will have to see if there will be any long-term drying damage to the piece as a result. If this piece were smaller and lighter, I would return it. However, it is already in its place and the hassle involved to return it seems more burdensome than the price I paid for the unit, so it stays. I should have been leery at the amazing ‘deal’ I was getting; now I understand.
