Thor Kitchen Pro. 36 in. Range
I'm happy with the purchase so far, we have used this range extensively since we got it installed in our new home. The burners put out a great amount of heat and are easily adjustable to offer a large variety of cooking temperatures. The oven temp is awesome and the convection fans works very well. Roasting chicken, prime rib and even puff pancakes has been great. The broiler works very well and puts out a consistent level of heat over a large surface area.
The only reason I won't give this range 5 stars is because of the griddle. The heat is great and the surface is nice, but on the sides of the griddle where it meets up with the stove top, the griddle is not welded so grease goes into the crack off to who knows where. I have even considered filling the gap with high temp solder but I'm not sure what will work best. I would be interested to know if anyone else has this problem. Cooking pancakes and hash browns has been a struggle but that is because the seasoning has not yet built up enough to make it non-stick.
If I could redo the purchase I would buy a 6 burner unit and purchase a cast iron griddle to go over the middle or side burners.
