We bought one of these showerheads about four years ago for our last house. It was great. We've moved, and after two weeks of miserable showers (I shouldn't have waited a week and a half to order), we just received our order for two more of these for the new place. Many locales have residential water flow restricters in place in the main lines. If you are having a problem with the pressure (we did in both homes), remove the washer from this showerhead, then take out the little white flow restricter disc. Replace the washer and install the showerhead. You should get a good pressure then. If you already have flow restrictions like we do and you do not remove the white flow restricter disc, you will get a pitiful trickle of water. I cannot tell you the joy when these showerheads arrived at our new home. In fact, we were leaving as the UPS man was coming down the street, and as we drove out we stopped to request our shower heads from him (I was tracking our order process online and knew the package was out for delivery). Our new home had some pricey adjustable showerheads installed, but the pressure was awful, the style was non-existent, and we really felt dirty until these showerheads were installed (which took all of five minutes each). We are so glad that these were still available. I was eyeing some showerheads that cost $129 each at one of the warehouse stores, but I held out to order these again and I am glad I did. The price is fantastic, the finish is high quality and durable. The showerhead is not huge, but the jets point in multiple directions making for good coverage. In short, we LOVE this product.
WOW, I read the reviews and ordered the shower head but was still a bit worried. I have well water with fairly weak water pressure and I love a strong shower. I was afraid that even with the disc removed that we might not get enough pressure. I could not have been more wrong. We have lived here 9 years and I did not know that we could get that much pressure out of a shower in this house. My husband and sons are all 6'4" and they love it too! My husband said "it 's nice not having to bend for a shower." I just ordered three more for our other showers. We have not run out of hot water using this, which was a concern for one reviewer, and we have a pretty small hot water heater. I cannot fully express how much I love this thing, it's great. I hated my old shower head so much that I seriously considered joining the "Y" just to get a good shower every day and feel clean. We will still be joining the "Y" but now it won't be for the showers.
I love this showerhead! I was pleased to find the installation was quite simple to perform. I read reviews on this showerhead before I purchased and I am so glad I did so. I had concerns of low water pressure that would affect the "rainfall" effect but I simply removed the plastic disc that slows down the flow of water and I ended up with amazing water pressure. I love the versatility of the showerhead when it comes to height adjustment. The only thing I was disappointed about was the size of the showerhead. I was thinking the diameter of the showerhead would be at least 6 or 7 inches and not 3.5 inches. For a standard sized shower this little 3.5 inch showerhead was the perfect size. Any bigger than 3.5 inches the water would be hitting the shower curtain too much and the wall as well.
I bought this a few months ago. We just finished our bathroom and have been using this for a few weeks. I took out the little white piece like others had said and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shower head! It does feel like rain. My husband is very tall and usually has to bend down under the shower but he doesn't anymore because this has a joint then a longer arm and then another joint at the shower head. This allows us to add about six or so inches so now my husband doesn't have to crouch to rinse off. Thanks Great Offer Stock.com!
The water pressure in this showerhead is not terribly high, but this is not a problem for me. The telescoping arm and swiveling features are wonderful - our shower arm is about 6 inches below our faces in the shower here. The showerhead does feel like a light rainfall - so if you want a hard shower, i'd look elsewhere.
When I installed my first showerhead, it looked good, but its needle like spray was very uncomfortable. The Rainfall Chrome 3.5-inch Showerhead offers generous, gentle, large drops of water that has made my showering a much more pleasant experience. It was easy to install; I didn't even have to remove the previous adjustable arm. I wish I had bought this a long time ago....

Bought my Rainfall shower head several years ago. Every guest in my home has wanted one (or two) for their own showers--have sent this as a gift, too. This head has a long arm with pivoting joints at both ends that adds versatility to how high or low it can be positioned--9" above or below the height of your old shower head--and, as a bonus, makes it possible to rinse every square inch of your tub/shower stall. The best part is no more stooping for the tall ones to get under the shower head and the lowest position is great for kids--they love being able to reach up and adjust it--or for the shower where you don't want to get your hair wet or simply want to rinse your legs or feet. It could not be easier to install, all one needs is an adjustable wrench. We did remove the water restrictor (the white, dime-sized disc) as we don't take long showers.Love this product.
we like this a lot. Just wish it was larger; it is only about 5 or 6 inches in diameter, so it's small but we are still very satisfied with it. pretty and shiny chrome finish!
I just got this today and had to try it out right away. For the price I was expecting to be a bit disappointed but it really exceeded my expectations. The rain fall effect feels just like real rain and is very relaxing, I really had to drag myself out of the shower! Being 6-4 I didn't think it would reach but the arm was long enough even for me. Would highly recommend this.
Received our Rainfall Chrome Showerhead very quickly. We purchased as a Christmas gift and were disappointed as we were expecting the large (6-8 inch) diameter showerheads that are associated with the "Rainfall" style. This showerhead is only 3 inches in diameter. I'm sure it is mentioned in the product details, just be aware that it is a small showerhead.
I remodeled my house two years ago and I wanted to install a large shower head. At that time I bouught a 6 inch (round) showerhead. It cost me over $60, it was a solid metal piece, high quality. I bought this for the guest bathroom and the showerhead does exactly the same as the more expensive one. This piece feels just as durable, and it also looks good. The downfall is that it is only 2.5 inches and it does not supply a great deal of water pressure. Taking the restricting cap helps increase the water flow. Overall, great purchase for under $25.
I first enjoyed a showerhead like this at a bed-and-breakfast about 15 years ago. Since then, I have purchased four or five showerheads that looked like this, but each one had a show-stopper design flaw. One had a fixed, rather than rotating, fitting where the fixture attaches to the wall pipe. Another had a non-removeable water-saver device. Etc. I bought this showerhead without high hopes. When I opened the package, I found that I had finally found the perfect showerhead. The fitting that attaches the showerhead to your wall pipe is adjustable, so you can easily align the arm (as sensible as this is, most showerheads with this design use a cheaper fixed fitting). The flow restrictor is removable, which is key if your water pressure is not standard. The joints don't leak (again, a common problem with may showerheads of this design). The showerhead delivers a wonderful, drenching shower. All in all, it's a great, versatile showerhead; and, unlike many showerheads that look nearly identical, this one is smartly designed and manufactured. This brand doesn't cut corners like the many other brands I've tried. Great buy.
I'm not overly tall at 6'0", but this house must have been built for someone 5'0". For a couple years I've had a shower head at about shoulder level, and I finally got this. No more leaning back to wash my hair! It's a very simple shower head, when I opened the postage box I didn't get anything glamorous, just a metal shower head in a little plastic packaging. I tore it open and had it installed in less than 5 minutes with nothing but pliers (careful not to scratch it much, my small crescent wrench didn't open wide enough). Water pressure is decent in my area so I opted not to remove the flow constrictor disc. With the flow constrictor disc in I do notice that it's not a ton of water (a good thing in the desert), but because the water is falling straight down it doesn't make it difficult to rinse out hair. And let me tell you about that water falling straight down... it's amazing! Instead of being pelted by high pressure water it's like just standing in a warm rain, true to its name. Very pleased. As I said I'm about 6 foot, my roommate is about the same, and his girlfriend is maybe 5'6". When us guys shower we can raise it up high and be completely comfortable, and when she showers she can lower it in a couple seconds to her height. It is adjustable in just about every direction. Haven't noticed any corrosion or calcium buildup in the little under a month I've used it. It does get some water spots when it dries, I make sure to polish it when I hop in the shower so it gleams and stays shiny! Simple yet amazingly effective, you won't find a better shower head for this price range. If you're even interested in a new shower head, buy this now.
Rainfall Chrome Showerhead product was more than I expected. It allows the water to flow over your body in even parts. Some showerheads do not give that even flow. Rainfall Chrome Showerhead is worth the investment.
i was thrilled with my new shower head. it really does feel like rainfall. don't be fooled by the name- it's not a soft rainfall, it's great water pressure!
it works well and all, but it was smaller than i thought, it showerhead is only about 6 inches in diameter.
Easy installation - great pressure - Love it! It is a wonderful drenching rainfall experience. I did not read the description well enough to realize that it was only 3 1/2 inches wide. I was expecting it to be much wider. BUT, once I used it, I fell in love. Based on previous reveiwers suggestions, I removed the low flow washer that limits the water pressure prior to installation and the water pressure is perfect. My husband is 6'8" and he can adjust it to where he needs it to be without a problem.
This is a nice product...especially for the price! Here are some of my observations: If you have normal or low water pressure...then you will almost certainly have to remove the white flow restrictor disk, as many other reviewers have noted. It's really easy to do... just remove the washer, & then the white disk...it takes less than a minute. If you have high water pressure, then it won't be a problem for you. Plus, if you leave the white flow restrictor disk in place, it will surely lessen the pressure of the water a little, (for those of you wishing to lessen your water pressure, that is). The shower head is very easy to install...it took my husband less than 5 minutes to remove our old shower head, & install this one. Also, this is a great shower head for people of all heights...it adjusts very easily, & without any effort...simply by lifting or lowering the arm. It would work just as well for someone over 6 feet tall, as it would for someone who is only 5 feet tall. The only complaints that I really have are that: you can't really *adjust* the water pressure, other than removing the disk, or leaving it in. The pressure is fine for me, after removing the disk...but it would have been nice to make the pressure a little stronger, or have options as far as that is concerned. Also, the head itself is not very big...so the water is really only in one spot, & it doesn't cover a very large area in the shower. And while that helps to keep the water in the shower, where it belongs...I personally would have preferred for it to be a little larger, & cover more space. But that's simply my preference, & it hasn't been a problem by any means...it's not TOO small & it shouldn't bother anyone too much. All in all, I would recommend this shower head, it's a great bargain for the price! And my husband loves it too! :)
I was a bit hesistant in buying this shower head, but we really needed one since my husband and i always turn our old one to suit us but we were never happy, because it just sprayes all over the place and more so my husband is 6ft. 4inches and i am 5ft 4inches so you can just imagine how crazy it gets when taking a shower. BUT this one, oh man it's just awesome. It's like raindrops alright, but ours just pours down with a blast. Its like each hole has a nozzle (our water pressure is great) It feels so good on my body and trust me i need a good shower at nights as i have 3 kids to look after under the age of 4. This shower head really works and i use it as my very own personal masseuse. What can i say, my husband and i just love it and now we take longer showers just to feel that water massaging our bodies.
