This rug pad is sturdy and will hold a heavy rug at the very best to protect the weave. I feel confident that my carpet will be in good condition for a very long time. I recommend this carpet pad.

As another reviewer mentioned - this is not a 100% felt pad. It has a sticky side on it. So if you're concerned about damage to your wood floors, you'll want to use it upside down (or buy a different pad). I didn't want a very thick pad, so the thickness worked out well for me (it does not provide a lot of padding), but I was expecting 100% felt, as the description states.

This "rug pad" should really be listed as a skid guard. It offers no padding at all, it just keeps the rug from sliding out of place.

Love the feel of this pad under the rug. It has a medium soft give to it as you walk across the carpet, yet holds the rug firmly in place. Wonderful, highly recommended.

I bought this pad to go under my area rug to protect my wooden floor. It works well under my rug. I would recommend this product.

Does the job. Nothing fancy to report. Was looking for a basic felt rug pad, and this did it. I love that I didn't have to cut it down to fit my 9x12 rug. Saved me a bunch of time.

Good thin carpet pad - a little on the expensive side but worth the price if you cant use a thick pad.

I thought I was buying a felt rug pad. This pad appears to have some felt product bonded to a non felt bottom that is designed to stick to the floor. It was very difficult to place this large rug pad properly on the floor because once it hit the floor, it stuck to the floor and could not be moved without picking it up. I saw from the picture that it was not thick, but I was surprised to find that is is actually less than 1/16 of an inch thick. It is so thin that it was folded in half for delivery and I thought they sent the wrong size. This would have been a good option for my 4 x 6 throw rug that tends to slide on my wood floor, but was a poor option for a 9 x 12 rug where a felt pad was all that was needed.
