We bought 2 of these to furnish a guest room that we planned to use to house exchange students. We wanted them to have separate beds, but we also wanted the flexibility to make the beds into a king when we use the room for adult guests. These fit the bill. They were easy to put together and are fairly sturdy. Because the lip of the frame does come up over the mattress, we can easily push them together and use a connector set to make a king. No huge gap. The only down side is that the low lip allows the mattress to slide a bit when used as a twin. It's not a problem -- just something to be aware of.

These came well packaged and look good. Low profile bedframe/headboard. Bought 2 of them for my sons' room. Have held up well. One does have a slight squeak to it (think hubby can fix with some screw tightening). Even room underneath for small storage. Slats have Velcro strips on them to stick to mattress so it doesn't slide around. Overall happy with them for the price!

Easy to put together and very sturdy

This super easy to assemble sturdy metal bed is a winner. It is a solid bed frame that will easily support an adult. In searching for a stylish adult bed for a small extra bedroom, this is a great find: stylish not childish! So many twin beds are created for little kids - I wanted a small bed to fit into a small room to host adult company. Perfect! Easy assembly - follow the bouncing ball - #1 connects to #1, etc.. Heavy box - about 70 pounds - which was the hardest part, handling the box. The slats roll out easily and secure with velcro and there are two long sticky strips you pull off to make sure the mattress doesn't slide. Highly recommend especially at this price point.

I was a bit nervous about ordering beds that had to be put together once they arrived. Neither I or my husband have that kind of "handy" talent. Turns out these beds make us look like handy man geniuses! The parts are all numbered, the directions are clear....and there is even the proper tool included for doing this work. It was easy and quick to do. The beds are beautiful, clean lined, perfect for our guest room. We are very happy with the quality and the look of our purchases!

This is the perfect bed for a pre-teen or even a teen. The quality far surpassed my expectations on this item for the price.

I bought this bed to replace my sons toddler bed. It is extremely well made and very sturdy. Completely made from metal, with the exception of the wooden planks, I feel it is a very durable piece. With the "help" of my four year old, (and of course throwing in other mommy tasks, laundry, dinner, etc.), it prob took us just over an hour. If done solo, I feel it could have taken approximately 20-30 mins once unpacked. Extremely easy to put together, directions were barely needed, just match numbers, align, insert and tighten bolts. Everything you needed to put the bed together was included, including wrench. A wonderful piece that I feel will last my son far into his teen years, not only for durability but style too!

Minimal bolts, all the same size, numbered joints for easy matching. I would recommend buying again from this manufacturer

Sturdy and very nice for the price

Shipping experience was really bad--Fed Ex. Usually perfect serivice. Tracking # was incorrect--then not resent until I complained. Then I had to wait again.
