I recently purchased this unit after my old one bit the dust. I must say I am impressed with this little machine!
Pros:
- Relatively quiet
- Powerful
- Fast, easy set up
- Light enough to carry and move around
- Includes a brass fitting to connect the garden hose, which is very sturdy and does not leak.
- Very long power cable and pressure hose. I no longer need to use an extension cord as I did with my old pressure washer.
- The oscillating nozzle tip has so much pressure! It actually makes cleaning the deck fun. Beware: it will remove loose paint and anything in its path!
Cons:
- The pressure hose is easy to install but the connections become really tight, making it difficult to disassemble when storing the unit . I gave up on that and just roll the hose over the handle on top. Easy.
- The wheels pop into place (vs being on an axle) and so while they do roll, they resist a bit when trying to roll the unit. No problem - with the long hose, you rarely have to move it anyway.
- It does not have built in spools to hide the hose and power cord for storage. My old machine had two hidden spools like the one on top of this machine, one for the power cord and one for the pressure hose, that were easy to use with no dis-assembly required. While this unit does have a spool for the pressure hose, you would have to separate the hose from the unit in order to use it.
Overall, I am very happy with this machine. So far I have used it to wash my truck and to clean the entire front porch of a log cabin, including walls and ceiling. I kind of expected the oscillating nozzle to fail, after reading some reviews, but so far it has held up (over 10 hours of use). I hope it lasts, because it is what really makes this machine so powerful. The other nozzle settings work well but do not have nearly as much pressure, except for the straight "jet" setting.
