Yes the background colors are brown, brownish green and taupe. It is a nice painting with the poppies done in orange red and a couple are bluish purple. They pop off of the dark background. Very contemporary, but very nice. I love mine.

No blue or gray. Brown and olive. Little darker overall Han in the picture. The oranges and reds appealed to me. It is a simple print that is framed. There is no texture to it. Not as good a quality as I hope but it is pretty from a distance. Not going to be a family heirloom, but I am glad I got it.
