Solid, decent amount of space, red wine is nice.
It's delivered in one medium sized box, all you have to do is assemble the feet. Don't forget to remove the plastic protector caps from the feet bolts before screwing the feet into the unit. I wasn't really sure where the little black pieces went, so I just put them through the threaded bolts between the unit and the feet.
The red wine color is pretty nice, and just dark enough, standard microfiber. The cushion itself is packed tightly, but soft. The storage area fits about two columns of 3 stacked towels, plus a little more (pillow cases and sheets). Don't expect a "wealth" of room, but enough for a few necessities.
I have the unit butted up against the end of my bed frame, and when I open the top of the unit the rear of the top part pushes against the bed frame and, in turn, nudges the unit out forward slightly. In essence, in order to open the top, it will need maybe a couple inches behind itself for roof clearance.
Also, when I have even a pair of sweatpants on the top, it will not always stay open on its own. The hinges holding up the top part are not exactly strong enough to keep it open on its own with [even light] items on top. To open the unit, I nudge my fingers in the front seem just a bit and pop it up.
It's useful for grabbing sheets and towels every now and then, looks nice, and is a neat little addition to the bedroom. (My bedroom colors are dark chocolate/cherry, black tv stand, gray drapes, light brown carpet.)
