Should perhaps wait for the light of day, but must impatiently report my delight. This piece is destined for my mantelpiece, plus a few candles, and it will work beautifully. I object to the individual who called it brown: there are a few bronze touches in the inner wings, but they are primarily light gold. The background is definitely not brown, but a soft, smudged gray. I haven't got it hung yet, but am very pleased. I am a person of faith, but by no means doctrinaire. This magnificent picture captures my love of the beautiful and my hope of heaven.
