This is the greatest rug pad ever made and if God had made a rug pad, it would’ve been just like this one! Well, that is what I would like to believe. Sometimes I question whether or not I really know how to use it, but it really doesn’t matter. Whether I use it on Harwood floor or on another carpet to layer my area rugs... Whichever side I pick to be the down side holds impeccably. I think I might as well flip a coin and I’m sure there’s some kind of science to it if I had time to look, but rest assured that if you’re seriously busy, you can’t miss. If you have time to read all the instructions, it will be the rug pad for you as well, you will know how to use it and you’ll get it right every time... however, you will know why. I have never had one of these slip out of place, the carpet has never moved out of place and that is under the feet of four college students (3 boys) and one giant golden retriever. I highly recommend this rug pad, whether you think you need one or not and whether or not you have time to read the instructions. It will fill the bill for everyone I just described and you don’t have to sit there and flip it over time and again to figure out which side to use. Just pick one and go with it. Never purchased rugs or a non-slip rug-mat before. I'm really happy with this purchase. It was easy to put underneath my rug, and flattened out after a day. Helps keep my rug in place. If I needed a non-slip mat again, I would definitely purchase this one. I added picture of the top and the bottom with grips.

There is nothing good to say about this rug pad I ordered an 8 x 10 to go with my 8 x 10 area rug that I ordered the same day. the pad say 8x10 on package but when you measure it. its A 7 x 8!! very disappointed!

This pad does the job but it is not quite as thick as I had hoped. Had purchased other Nourison pads in the past and this one is just a little on the thin side and has lots of wrinkles that are hard to get flat.

Hi. I think the 7'6" round will definitely help your rug have a better feel when stepped on. And an over all better look. I am not sure that the edges of the round pad won't be visible after some wear has taken place. To be on the safe side I would recommend that you get a size closer to the size of your rug.

The best look is to have a pad that is only an inch or two shorter around all sides of the rug. If you go much smaller, the shape of the pad, particularly if it’s thicker, will be obvious underneath.

Hi. I order the size of the rug to avoid any look of creasing where the pad ends under it. But since I will often trim that by an inch or so to stop it from showing, I also go just under the size of the rug if I can. I have seen others compensate by using double stick tape between the rug

Hi, I have used a blow dryer for this before but you've got to watch the heat so as not to melt any glue type of material. I don't know how hot your blow dryer gets so it's possible you may want to use a towel to insulate the pad a bit.
