very noisy, louvers close on their own; have to open them again. marginal cooling. you cannot have a conversation over the noise.

My loft doesn't have AC and window boxes don't work since the windows can't support them, so this unit is a godsend to help keep us cool this summer. It looks nice and has easy to use controls that are on top so you don't have to stoop over to use them.
