Lawnman Absolutely love it. Made jerky with nothing but good ingredients and turned out great in only 5hrs. Also several different fruits and vegies. I really liked having all the trays with the screens. Would highly recommend. This is my first time dehydrating and was surprised how easy it is and how good the food tastes without all that e preservatives.

Dehydrator I have only used twice to dehydrate Italian plums and found that it took a lot longer than instruction said it would but am anxious to try berries next. Very nice appliance. Many racks that fit together well. Appears to be of good quality. I think price was reasonable and am happy with purchase.

The best thing for your garden! Sun dried tomatoes, onion powder, garlic powder, dried herbs, making your own spices, dried bell peppers, dried peppers, etc. the list goes on and on. The best tasting celery powder. I had celery, onions, and green onions in the dehydrator and it smelt like Thanksgiving. Even if you don't have a garden, produce at the market works just fine. I am getting more requests for dried vegetables as gifts since I purchased the dehydrator. Just fill your trays, set the temp, and walk away until it's ready. No more food waste. The dehydrator will get a good workout this summer because everything is coming up good in the garden.

Does what it says This dehydrator is pretty fast but I'm much too impatient to let things get crunchy I think. We did apples, bananas, blueberry fruit leather, and green beans so far. The apples and bananas I stopped when they were leathery but we took them to the ball park as a snack and they were gone in no time! Delicious! I think the value of this is great...It came with a screen and fruit leather tray for each level. If you bought all that separately, you'd be spending a LOT. I don't think it's as loud as my hair dryer. We set it on the buffet in the dining room to run to get it out of the way and watching TV in the next room isn't an issue. My only complaint is no timer or automatic shut off feature. Once they add that in, this thing would be 5 star. Oh....and I have to say, the trays and liners clean up VERY easily. I was a little nervous.....you are, after all, drying on the food on purpose....but no problem, no scrubbing...nice!

Great and fun item to use! A friend had just bought this and my husband wanted to do the same thing with drying meat and fruits. It is a fun project to do and the tastes are great! Pineapple is awesome. Can't wait to do the meat!
