I placed the drapes in the washer and ran them thru the rinse cycle and then hung the drapes slightly damp so all wrinkles would fall out. They look great
These are 95”length white sheers. Let me say that I needed sheers to put on the inner rod and needed something fast (I live on the ground floor on the Avenue in Manhattan and get ALOT of traffic going by my living room right now). I have dupioni silk (“like”) curtains on the outer rod using an umbra double rod and curtain rings. I wanted just a simple (read - cheap) pair of curtains just to finish the look and see how sheer I wanted the inner curtain to be (like a test look). So, I found these and for the price of 2 I could have bought 1/2 of any other curtain on sale. They aren’t the greatest quality maybe a step up from “fly net” but the gems are clean, they are bright white and the size I needed. They are white so expecting will get dirty and need to be replaced anyway so for the price and the ease, these are perfectly fine. For something more permanent, you may want something a little nicer. I’ll post photos of the overall window “look” day and night. Bear in mind I need about 4 more hooks for the sheers to lay a little better (waiting for these to come in the mail at present) but you get the idea.
Very good material, they are shiny but not too much. Better to use four or more panels. Here I have 4 panels. The length of these are 108 inch, I didn’t want them too short.
When purchasing these sheers keep in mind that you get what you pay for. I did not want to spend a lot of money on sheers as I am selling my house, but for what I spent, these sheers work fine. I have seen sheers of a much poorer quality than these. Some reviewers complained of unevenness. This is true. I have had to cleverly manipulate the hem to get an even appearance. However, a soft iron on the side seams helps to straighten the panel and keeps the hem from 'hiking' on the ends. Careful with iron temp. You can burn the sheer if iron is too hot. Again, if you must have superior quality, this is not the sheer for you. If you can live with mid grade fabric, these may work just fine. Update: I originally gave these sheers 3 stars but they worked for the price and did exactly what I needed them to do. For that I am changing my rating. I would not purchase these particular sheers if I want a rich, elegant look.
Probably my own mistake for ordering them but I didn't realize they would be so shiny. May work for others just not to my liking
Very good quality and perfect elegance for my dinning room and sitting room. The sheer material let just enough light in. I love them!
they are much shorter (about two inches) than the advertised length.
I rated Five stars for the luxury collection Monte Carlo sheer curtain because it is very sturdy for a sheer curtain. My cat likes to sit in the window to look out is always moving around the curtain and there aren’t any holes in it from his nails this makes me very happy.
Each order comes with 2 panels perfect for an average window
These are exactly as advertised- sheer white and proper length. I have a double rod in my bedroom so these add a little extra privacy without blocking the light. The white is true to it's shade (as opposed to looking ivory) and there are two pocket options to choose from when hanging. Great quality and amazing price!
I used the Stella adjustable double curtain rod. To mount the Madison Park Laya Sheer Gray curtain in front of The Monte Carlo white sheer curtain as the base. The two sheers let sunlight, while maintaining privacy. The look is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend the Madison Park Laya sheers.
The price is RIGHT, the color worked perfectly for my application. It didn't matter that the color(chocolate) varied some and the length was not the same by 2 or so inches. I was so pleased to get the length I needed, 108", for my pack porch those slight imperfections did not matter. Like I mentioned ... the price was right !
I have been looking for something for the windows in our dining room that would block a bit of the neighbors view but still let in a lot of light. We have a 100 year old victorian house so the windows are bigger than normal windows and since there are so many sizes in these curtains I was able to find one that fit perfectly! These are sheer curtains so you can see through them, that was fine for me. They let in a lot of light and are great quality. I ended up buying more for a spare bedroom that we turned into the animal's room. Be prepared to do a lot of ironing after you receive them. But after they are ironed they look and lay great!
One star because, the material and slight sheen was great for a shady bedroom window. But after waiting with excitement, I received length 120 inches instead of my order of 95 inch and the color was a look of the taupe on the website, not at all the burnt orange color of their bronze, two things wrong! Had to send them back and hope there is no return feeds on me, not my fault :(
This was a nice product. We had to work with 12' ceilings. We added a striped sheer panel to the bottom for extra length and punch. It was a very nice effect. Good product.
Bought these to go behind previously bought curtains from OS and they work perfectly in color and quality and fabric texture.
All items arrived neatly packed in zippered pouches, and were exactly as described. The quality for the price is excellent and the sheers had hemmed sides as well neat top and bottom hems/rod pockets. Very happy with my purchase- I ordered six sets for my glass walled dining room.
I love these sheer panels. Just what I was looking for.
These are perfect for my outdoor spaces, even though they are not made for the outdoors, they are very light and have the perfect lengths available for my high ceilings.
These are perfect sheers, very basic will fit a smaller or larger rod pocket curtain rod, offer a slight diffusion of the light coming in and give a little privacy in the evening when you don't feel like having the blinds closed.
