The best rug pad ever Bought 6 rugs. Got pads for each of them in 3 different brands. This was by far the best. It will not budge. Others provided padding only but would not stay put, which is annoying at best and dangerous at worst. If you have heavy furniture on the rug, you can get away with one of the others. But for a kitchen, hallway, foyer or any area without furniture to keep the rug in place, this is the way to go. HIGHLY recommend.

Laura I prefer the felt pads over the grid pads because of the cushion level and I feel they protect my floors better. The perfect width for my 2'4" runner. I must trim some in length which isn't difficult.

Hummm This pad stretched far beyond the rug after a few weeks of use and we had to keep trimming it so it would not show beyond the rug. However, in spite of that, it did the job that was expected.

What a difference! I had purchased a 2' x 12' rug from Great Offer Stock to protect my hardwood floor. It is very pretty, but, it kept sliding around - not good when my elderly father in law came over and it was slipping under his feet! I cannot believe the difference this rug pad makes. Not only did it cure the slipping, but, it also feels thicker underfoot. I will never buy an area rug without a rug pad again - this one in particular is so much nicer than those placemat plastic hole type - nice and sturdy - I think I will get years of use out of it...Recommend highly!

good basic rug pad I bought this and cut it in half to go under two 2'x6' runners. So far it's working great. No problems.

Did not work for what I needed This is a well made rug pad but I found it to be way to thick for a narrow or small rug. I cut it up for a runner and door mat but the thickness just got in the way. I ended up buying a thin rug pad ( the ones with the holes in it, kind of rubbery) and they work fine.
