Excellent piece; the color would best be described as a gun metal gray; would be a great gift for someone interested in a natural, carribean, musical, or ethnic decor; Looks good hanging with a vibrant colored background showing through. The only disappointment is the lack of hanging attachments to the back of the piece.
This is a lovely wall hanging that looks great in our eclectic bedroom. I like the detail - clearly a lot of time and care went into carving this piece. I am thinking about putting it on a stained wood plank as something of a frame.
