We're getting married and I've always heard that cast iron is the absolute best cookware. So I purchased this piece to add to my new collection of cast iron cookware because I'm getting rid of stainless steel. My grandmother and mom cooked with it, now I'm giving it a try. I bought this piece based on so many good reviews. Can't wait to cook in it!

A wonderful pot. Right in the middle of my cast iron iron cookware - size wise - and very useful on stovetop, oven, even on the woodstove during a power outage, then right to the table. Quality is fine - slightly rough finish on the cover but doesn't impact use or care. Quickly seasoned and extremely easy to clean with hot water and a brush.
