I biught these for my mother because she has rumatoid arthritis and has a hard time with most manual salt and pepper grinders. These do the trick quick well. The karge buttons on the top make it easy to start and stop the grinders. The onky thing i wish is that the hopper held more product. When you cook as much as we do, you end up having to fill these constantly.

Maybe there aren't any great battery operated peppermill. I thought I had done my homework, but this one has been a disappointment. Not easy to fill/re-battery, so I usually use my manual peppermill.

We purchased these as stylish replacements for the MUIs we have. The quality is SO far below normal for MUI quality, that either MUI has fallen off the path of excellence, or these are a cheap knockoff, which is what we suspect. Age upon arrival: One mill arrived with the top having come unglued from the bottom. It looked like the glue had died of old age. Seriously. It was so desiccated that it would just crumble off when we brushed a finger across it. Super glue has kept them together so far, but I see a divorce in their future. Performance: Their grinding power is surprisingly weak and thready. The on/off buttons on the top are wobbly, usually taking 2+ pushes to get started. And, the flow of the salt/pepper out the bottom of each is weak and faltering. Construction: On one of them, the label on the side that shows you which way to turn the upper half in order to remove the lower so you can fill it, was already 70% worn off. A telltale variance between the construction of these "grinders" and true MUI ones, is that MUI makes the pepper grinder's blade out of steel, but the salt grinder's blade out of ceramic because salt makes steel rust. Although sold as being a pepper and grinder set, they are not. Both of these units had ceramic grinding blades. We're asking for a refund and will shop elsewhere.

the adjustment of grinder size stopped working in 1 month its still working, but I have really big pieces of pepper coming out, and this size of pepper doesn't work for any of my recipe

This grinder seems poorly engineered. The stainless housing is always loose; there is nothing to secure in the "lock" position. The pepper grinding operation is intermittent; the motor grinds to a halt after only a small amount of peppers have been ground.

I am very happy with this pepper mill easy to use just what I needed. Thank you.

It's very quiet and easy to use. It's adjustable grind is convenient and works well. Bought one and a week later bought another for a spare!

I paid half as much for these as I did a fancy set from a competitor and they are twice as nice, and do they grind !!

This is easy to use when cooking and adding salt to salads. I love that you need only one hand to use.

Works like a dream, saves the old crank, crank of your hand. Nice design too, looks good outside of a cupboard.
