    Straight forward assembly though a bit tedious. First chair was so out of balance that even the adjustable legs couldn't balance it. Second chair was balanced, so I attempted to attach the seat. No pre-drilled holes, so I just screwed the seat to the wooden base through the stiff seat bottom material. Was not able to get this connection tight and the seat just lifts off the base. Gauging from other comments I'm not the first to have a this issue. They really are good looking chairs, and very affordable. Unfortunately I'm returning all four chairs.

    THEY TAKE A VERY VERY LONG TIME TO ASSEMBLE. I listened to 3 podcasts. It was a great time of learning, but my back hurts. You have to use an allen wrench the whole time and it's all at weird angles so you have to screw stuff in like 1/16 of a turn at a time. BUT then you finish the chair and you sit on it and you're like, "****. There are two great chairs here and I feel like a grown up on a budget who has figured out how to have decent things." I'd buy them again, but only after I'm not single anymore so I can make my partner do it while I watch and laugh, then enjoy sitting on him, I mean them. The chairs. Sorry. You guys definitely aren't going to approve this but I hope you pass it around the office and laugh because life should be full of laughter. You're welcome.

    I bought 4 of these chairs, and they are simply beautiful. The wood color is perfect, and they really compliment my space. They look a little low but are actually a good table height. They're also decently comfortable. They seem to be sturdy and come with adjustable rear legs, which is super helpful. My only two negatives would be assembly difficulty and damage. If you think Ikea is irritating, just skip these. Though they aren't complex, they are just incredibly tedious. It took me 30 minutes to assemble each one. There was also damage to two side braces, one I'm each package, came damaged. Both were missing a peg and the wood was splintered on one.
