mitchster Rating:5.0The price was incredible for a Hunter fan of this quality. Used it to replace out a builders grade, major piece of cheese fan from low rent box store. I chose the antique bronze, and couldn't be happier. It hangs from the ceiling without threatening anyone over 6 feet in height! Excellent buy & product. Thanks Big "O"!!! Peace

stacycharles Rating:5.0I went with bronze lighting in our newly finished basement and these are the perfect lights for above our bar. We have them on dimmers so they aren't too bright and provide great ambiance.

dogmomy Rating:3.0This is a chandelier of quality . It arrived in perfect condition. I wasn't pleased with the finish , it is a antique bronze finish. Definately not antique gold as described. I returned it.

Lynne L. Rating:5.0This light is really attractive with the black and the bronze. This light was bought to be hung at the bottom of a stair well. It offers adequate lighting and is really good looking.

Stephen V. Rating:5.0We were looking for a ceiling fan without a light as the room has ample pot lights. We found this one with the soft up-light and love it. Now we can have soft lighting or "mood" lighting while enjoying TV or just don't want the bright lights on..

dcmadam Rating:4.0I looked for a ceiling fan that would enhance a traditional LR/DR in my new condo. For the most part this works. However ... the finish is not really bronze, but a very, shiny metallic-brown ... similar to the mirrored finish on an automobile. Also, it does not come with a remote as stated in the description. You will have to add one. The fan blades are not wooden as described but stamped sheet metal with a wood-look painted finish. The crystals strands on the light kit have to be painstakingly attached. One end of a strand has a coiled metal ring similar to that of a key chain and needs to be guided through one of the small holes on the rim. The other end has a straight wire which once inserted in its corresponding hole is bent into place like a hook. The crystals are linked together with a silver colored wire. The base of the light kit is chrome colored and is has a partial pull chain inserted. The rest of the chain length and the decorative amber-colored pull came packaged separately. I am planning to apply a bronze patina to the metal on the body and the light kit as the existing finish will not work with my antique art and furnishings. I like the fact that the chandelier bulbs are old fashioned incandescent and not halogen, etc. I like the concept of the fan. I just wish it had been further developed.
On September 4, 1882 , one square mile of lower Manhattan was aglow with light as the first commercial power station went into operation. Thanks to Thomas Edison's brilliance, for about 24 cents per kilowatt hour, 59 customers were provided with lights and electricity at night. By the late 1880s, the demand for that service had grown so much that small power stations could be found in many U.S. and European cities. We're still amazed by all the practical and aesthetic possibilities offered by lighting . Electrifying Timeline: Arc lamps preceded light bulbs. Read More
