I ordered a quartz sink in the past for one of my other clients. It was a nice Elkay, in a dark gray color. It collected water spots, but those could be temporarily remedied with mineral oil. Anyhow, I thought I could get away with a lower cost brand so I ordered online for one of my more budget conscious clients. However, my client wanted it in White. Since quartz sinks are supposed to be very durable I assumed there would be no problems. First problem (though not related to the sink quality itself) was that when we opened the box, the bottom of the sink had what appeared to be sneaker footprints on it. Like someone tried to stuff it into the box with their dirty shoe. That was disturbing, but didn't affect the sink in the end. Second problem was the metal sink rack. The plastic feet had split in at least one area. But they send extra feet so we are good for the moment. Apparently several people have had this issue, so I was prepared for it. Third problem which we have yet to solve is that the white sink scratches very very easily from impact of pots and pans. There are black marks all over the sink by the end of the night. We have been able to clean them off with Barkeeper's Friend relatively easily, BUT are upset that we should have to do that every single day on what is supposed to be a durable sink. I guess "durable" doesn't mean that you don't have to clean it every single use. It just means that it wont endure lasting damage from every day use. Now I wish I had gone for a stainless steel or cast iron. The classics that I know what to expect from. If I go quartz again, it will most definitely be a dark color. I read all the reviews, and I guess no one purchased it in white. :( So upset since I spec'd this for a long time valued customer.

This sink is exactly what I thought it would be. Large, spacious and gorgeous! Perfect! However, I thought "drop-in" sink meant it could lay on top of the counter. This is not the case. It is meant for under the counter installments but I made it work.

  • Loved the color.

but it was 1 inch too small all around my hole in my granite. Had to send it back. It said it was drop in or undersink, but I think it is more undercounter install.

This is a LARGE and very nice sink. I have always had stainless so I am getting use to a sink that doesn't polish. I like it but not sure I LOVE it yet. It is kinda rough to the touch as well and not sure I like that either. I think I would LOVE it if it were a lot smoother. Don't get me wrong it is smooth but not a silky smooth.

  • I love this sink...but

I love this sink. I got it in mocha and it looks fantastic. The only complaint I have about it is this...I wish it had a bit more slope to the drain. It is very hard to get everything down to the disposal. It has a matte finish so you need to be sure to clean it out or it looks dull. Otherwise, I love the size and color and style of this sink.

The sink is nice. But the pastic that fit into the foot of the metal draining shelf broke when arrived.

  • Great sink!

I have enjoyed this sink for five months. The concrete color looks perfect with the Fantasy Brown Granite countertops. The size is roughly the size of the double sink I had before, but being a single bowl is much more user friendly. It is just the right size for washing large items such as griddles, cookie sheets, garden produce and even babies! It is easy to clean. The wire rack is very handy. If you like the concept of a smaller sink, you can easily adapt this by simply using a dishpan, the way your great-grandmother did when all the sinks were single. I did a lot of shopping before buying, and hesitated to buy online without seeing it in a store, but was so happy with the decision as soon as it arrived. I highly recommend this sink.

  • Great Sink But Narrow
    Verified Purchase

Love the way the sink looks in my kitchen. Because it is on the narrow side you tend to get more water splatter in particular at the back of sink and it requires drying after use or you will see water marks.
