    I bought this fan to put in a tropical plant enclosure off the end of my dining room. There are about 2 dozen orchids along with other tropical plants in there that can be seen through double French doors. This mister fan creates just enough air movement and moisture/humidity to create a very jungle-like atmosphere in the enclosure. I have used it continuously since the weather got very hot, so for about 4 months, and it continues to perform well. The louvers can be set to oscillate so the mist is spread around the entire enclosure. The plants LOVE it, and so do I.
