I like to write reviews after one year of use to see if it can handle normal use. After a year while using the heater the auto feature to drain the water stopped working. It was working great, now I have to manually drain the water every 15 minutes and it's annoying. I even cleaned the filters and drained out the entire water but every 15 minutes the AC starts beaping drain water. Aaahhh! Here is the other frastrating part, I bought the protection plan to cover manufacture defects. Good thing I did, but the worst part is that they can't complete a simple task and set up an appointment to come fix it. I keep calling and they say the manufacturer repairs will contact me and I'm still waiting over 3 weeks now. Meanwhile we are all freezing at home.

Really makes my room comfortable

The unit was put in a smaller room than expected, thus it worked fantastic. It was also very easy to put in the window, much easier than the previous model I had which was very drafty. This unit is designed so there are no drafts. It cools and heats a rooom very well. It will be interesting to see how it does in larger spaces, but I anticipate it will do fine. It's a very solid unit and I hope to have it for many years to come.

Works fast and well even in vaulted ceiling spaces

Works well, looks stylish. Only problem I have is to empty the water is a real pain.

When received the unit it was not put together right. The side was bowing out. My husband fixed it. It has several times tripped our breaker, can't run more than one thing at a time in the room, this is an inconvenience.

Does not blow cool air.Will not cool a room.

I purchased this unit to put in our computer room. We home school two children and spend most of the day in class. I am able to raise the thermostat in the rest of the house and keep it cool in our school room. The energy saving setting and fan speed choices keep this unit quiet and efficient. I ordered this for my elderly in-laws to help them refrain from using so much wood heat. EXCELLENT product and excellent service. The first one I received leaked from underneath, and the replacement was sent out the next day after I called and we received it within 5 days. No problems with this one so far. And the extended warranty was a no brainer!

While I have read many reviews of this A/C being loud and noisy, it's actually quiet (and I've owned 3 different brands), all of which were much louder than this one. This unit adequately cools a 600 square foot space on low and in the energy saver mode.

After doing my research this unit was the newest and strongest mobile air conditioner I could find. I waited weeks during the hot season to buy it. But finally decided to get this one because I can use it all year because it also has heating to. I bought this from Great Offer Stock as a refurbished unit because the extended warranty is available to buy. The unit was shipped and appears to be brand new. I am very happy and my room is nice and cold.

I live in FL and have this unit on a glassed-in sun room and it gets HOT. While this unit performs as I expected, it can not overcome the mid-day heat. Under normal conditions, in somewhat cooler climes, I feel sure that it would be satisfactory. It does well before 1 pm and after 4 pm even in my extreme conditions. After the summer heat passes, I feel that I will get full benefits from this unit. All functions perform well, it runs with low to normal fan noise, it has an attractive appearance and installation is a snap. All in all, I am perfectly satisfied with this purchase.

It cools a large area fast. But, it is noisy. You will not be able to hear your TV at a normal volume.
