I have 2 sinks in my kitchen a 16 gauge since and this 18 gauge sink. This one stains easily, doesn't maintain it's shine and has a cardboard like sound when water hits it as opposed to stainless steel. I wish I had done my homework on the difference between 18 and 16 gauge. Spend the extra money.
