Well I was a little leery at first as I have never put up wall paper that wasn't pre pasted. But this is a beautiful mural I knew would look fanstic. Yes it has faded qualities to it, that is what the picture is meant to have. (Look Close you'll see it in the picture & description too) That is what gives the softness & the writing gives the feeling of a postcard. It is a soothing mural with rich pink, purple & blues softened with Green. I put up some sheers on the window with nice metal Verona Scroll crown & tie backs it gave my room a nice Southern Plantation feel.

  • A Disappointment!

I was extremely excited about receiving this mural after seeing pictures of it. I had shopped and compared murals for over a week before finding this one. It was exactly what I was looking for for the guest bedroom and was perfect for my color scheme. However, when I removed the mural from the packaging and unrolled the panels (8 of them), I realized that the colors were not at all like the pictures depicted. The background color is more of a grayish color rather than the lavender color shown. And the whole mural is "blurred" like it is out of focus. Also, part of the writing (words) were cut off at the bottom of the mural. The instructions are almost useless...very confusing and the diagrams are totally wrong. We mixed the paste up as instructed and it was non-usable...it would not stick at all. So we had to purchase wallpaper/mural paste at Walmart to use on the mural. Needless to say, I am not pleased with this mural but will leave it up at least for a while...it was a lot of hard work...just wish the result would have been pleasing rather than a disappointment.

This Hydrangea looks stunningly dramatic on the bedroom wall. Not particularly easy to handle, it is a bit fragile but once on the wall, quite worth the effort.
