Better than I imagined! After reading the other reviews I was nervous about purchasing this mixer. I opened the box and couldn't be happier. When I saw that it is actually the 600 Design Series model, not the regular 6qt model, I almost died! The color is in fact Sugar Pearl, not Nickel Pearl like the other reviews stated, although they may have been sent that color by mistake. The color is more silver in person than it appears in Overstock's description but it seems to change colors and look lighter or darker depending on lighting. While this is a refurbished item, I never would've known! It's beautiful - not a mark or ding on the entire machine. I let it run on each speed and so far it works perfectly. If I encounter any issues in the next few months I'll update my review.

Great Mixer, more powerful and faster than Artisan We previously had the Artisan mixer that we used for making cookies and other small items. When we started making bread and pasta it seemed to strain the motor since it got hot. The bowl was small once we started trying to make larger batches. This mixer is great. It has 200 watts more and it is a lot more powerful and faster. Mixes dough with no problems and I love the larger bowl. The mixer looked perfect, not a scratch and runs great. Highly recommended.

Sugar Pearl Kitchenaid Bowl-Lift Mixer I purchased this refurbished Professional 6qt bowl lift mixer, about a month ago. I was very excited to see that it was in perfect condition, it is absolutely breathtaking in color. The performance is wonderful, and makes quick work of mixing ingredients together. I can honestly say I am glad that I went and purchased this refurbished machine for half the price of a new one. No one knows unless I tell them what a deal I got on it.

all good so far after having 2 hamilton beach commercial mixers crap out on me in the past 3 years, i went back to kitchenaid. so far everything seems to be good with this refurbished model.

This is the one I needed I owned a basic KitchenAid mixer but found that it just wasn't large enough for the recipes I was making. I was cutting recipes into smaller batches to get them done. I found the refurbished 6 qt. to be affordable and just the right size! I took out the extended warranty as well. So far, I haven't been disappointed. The biggest challenge with the bowl-lift is getting it to lock in place but after a few tries, I am getting the hang of it. Great buy

It's ok Well first of all it isn't "sugar pearl", it is nickel pearl as the previous poster noted. Also it does have some cosmetic issues as it is refurbished. The metal kitchenaid label is not sealed properly around the unit which may become a problem with cleaning stray dough and batter. They did send me a return label without any problem though. I have to say customer support was great. I decided not to return the mixer though because I have the platinum protection plan and the mixer was an amazing price when I got it $*** i think with a coupon. You can't really beat that for a 6 qt pro. So all in all it was a good deal-but disappointing because when you spend all that money on a kitchenaid you want a fun color. Maybe I will try one of those ideas I saw on pintrest of how you can paint your mixer with spray paint. :)
