Loud and A Bit Sloshy, But Effective It does what all KitchenAid mixers do, though the power seems a bit strong for the lowest setting. I'd advise getting an extra beater that can scrape the sides. Also, be careful if your batter level is above the halfway mark (hence the sloshing), or get a mixer with a bigger bowl.

rather disappoointed My old KitcheAid had begun to literally fall apart so I thought I would invest in a new, much needed replacement. I baked m first few batches of Christmas cookies and was disappointed that the blades did not work as well as my old mixer. However, I did find the blade with the scrapers attached and since that time, I am more satisfied but not completely, In this model, the bowl sits differently awkwardly while mixing.
