its not nearly as substantial as it appears in the picture, we received ours with chips in the paint, and the paint is not coated well. don't waste your money.

I was looking for a quality bed for my son's room - this is perfect! It arrived quickly, in three boxes, and was easy to put together (except for the one bolt that was stripped - had to make a home depot run!). I'll get another bed for my guest room.
