These are solid wood and high quality stools that I imagine will last my lifetime! The design is classic. They are sturdy. A great buy for TWO stools no less. Just one of these sells for over *** in furniture stores.

The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because they are tough (but easy) to assemble. Easy to understand, but the actual physical assembly. One screw I was never able to get all of the way in and I am strong...as in, do Ironman strong.

These are just what we were looking for to go with pub style high rectangle tables. Bar stools with a back have scratched our walls in the past. My husband and 16 year old put them together- a few glitches - but nothing they couldn't handle. Great purchase for the price.

We have a tall counter and tall dining room table, these stools are great because they work in both locations. I did originally want them in a different color but the brown ended up being a better option because it matches the dining room table. I have a few friends that have bought them as well ( lower heights) so they seem to be popular.

These look great, sturdy enough for little ones to climb up and down on as well as large adults. I use one as a step stool for my high cabinets. Really great.

If you weigh more than a 120 pounds don't buy these stools. They aren't made to hold more weight than that. So disappointed because I really like the style..
