I needed a heater to just take the chill off and was surprised how much capacity this heater had and how quiet. Would recommend this heater to anyone

This little unit will comfortable heat the living room, kitchen and dining room of a 1465 square foot home.

It only heats about 20 sq. ft.

To small for my needs. Gave it to friends. They love it.

We bough this because Consumer Reports recommended it. Our furnace broke and we could not afford the 5000 bill to have it replaced. we had other space heaters and we got this to add to them. It got us in our living room heated nicely (15 by 17 ft) and kept us comfortable, now we are getting 2 more this winter to get us through until we can save enough for a new furnace. our energy costs were about 150 a month for electric during winter so it is fuel efficient. this one heats better than our others.

Works great, the only thing is, the buttons should not be on the top of the heater. Too easy to get turned on or off.

In my opinion, this is the best and safest type of supplemental heater you can buy. It helps us heat our basement pretty quickly. It has a thermostat, overheat protection, and is cool to the touch, except right in from where the heat comes out. Nice to have the controls on top, it is easy to see. Unit also has a timer in which you can set it to run for 1 or up to 9 hours and then shut off automatically. I have tried several heaters in my basement and a couple other types of infrared heaters and this one seems to be the best overall. This is its second season of use and no problems at all to date.

I bought this because our house is a 2 story. We can keep our main heater turned way down and just use this in the rooms we need it in. Best heater I've bought.

This heater worked great at first. The low hum and dim light were easy to get used to at night. It heated my large bedroom nicely and I often had to turn the heat down or off to keep from being too warm. However, after a couple weeks, if I tried to use the heater on level 3, it would turn off. I started using it on level 2; the heater would turn again turn itself off after only a few minutes (so it couldn't have been too hot). I now only use the heater on level 1; it's been working fine at that level but I should be able to use the heater at any level I want. I would not repurchase.

Did my research, shopped around, and discovered that greatofferstock.com had a fair price for this unit. However, the unit was delivered without any documentation from the manufacturer. Great Offer Stock Customer Service resolved by sending me an electronic version of the owner's manual. Unit works well; no issues so far.

I replaced a well-known and highly recommended space heater with this Honeywell, and the Honeywell is far superior, both in heat it puts out and in energy savings. Consumer Reports rated it tops, and I agree.

Just remember, though: it's a space heater, not a room heater. We have a finished basement that is usually 5-10 degrees cooler than the upstairs living area. This heater takes the chill off in the winter but it takes a little while. It's nice and quiet, light and moves easily on casters and does the job. Just don't expect it to take the place of a furnace!

I chose this heater from Consumer Reports. All went well for one day...and we really needed the heat! The next morning it was dead!...no amount of coaxing, cussing or coercion produced one BTU. Thankfully we had an old EdenPure...twice the price, but 100% more BTU output! Needless to say, I got back to Great Offer Stock and...after a little coaxing conversation...received a replacement that is working as advertised...it has been a week. Instructions take a little practice.

Nice heater! Does everything it says. No frills, it just throws out the heat you need and want. Warm and Toasty!

I love this heater except for 1 thing. The thermostat ranges from 60 to 85 degrees and for most this may be fine but for me 60 degrees is to high for a low setting. Sometimes im gone for a few days and i would like to set it for say 45 to 50 degrees. just so my pipes dont freeze. Why keep it 60 degrees when ur not home?

I bought this for our very large bathroom. It has wheels so is easy to roll out of the way. It also has a large handle and under that, a slot for the remote which I don't use. It can be set in several ways (temp vs constant) and is easy to use. I haven't used it for long periods of time-the longest has been to warm up the room to give the dogs a bath and it worked fine for that (our bathroom is probably 175 square feet). The only con is that I wish it had a clock timer so I could have it turn on for a few minutes before I get up in the morning.
