Honey Pine Five Drawer Chest

Bought this a while back for my mom's bedroom and it has been over 8 years and it is still going strong and serving it's purpose. Very sturdy dresser. Has 5 good sized drawers to hold clothes. The pine color blends in very well with the décor of the room. Too bad it is out of stock looking for a dresser for my guest bedroom would have bought another one. Very classic look.

The color of wood is very nice. It’s a sturdy well made chest and came packaged very well. I love the ease of how the drawers open and close. It’s a perfect size.

I bought this because they matched the bunk bed in the room. They are of decent quality and went together without issue. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that I own much better quality furniture. This is a solid pine piece.

Dresser is small. The top, sides & fronts are solid wood, the drawers & back are thin plywood/pressboard. I am not sure that the drawers will hold up to everyday use. Shipping took a long time & the shippers communication was non existent.

Very nice and a really great five drawer chest.

I needed a bedroom dresser that wasn't made of pressed wood, and in a color that would coordinate with the bed frame. The unit came already assembled and was placed in the room of choice by the delivery driver. Initially, I thought it was going to be too light in weight, due, in no small measure, to the ease with which the driver maneuvered it into place. When I tried to move it later to another corner of the bedroom, I discovered that the dresser did have some heft. I removed all the drawers before moving, in order to reduce the weight drag, as the floor is carpeted. I noticed that as I tilted the dresser to move from one corner to another, there was a distinct banging sound heard. As I investigated afterwards, once the dresser was in place, I discovered that a slab of mdf or pressboard was used inside as a backstop for the drawers. Apparently, this gave the furniture considerably more weight, but was only mounted at the top of the back frame with two brackets and some screws. It was not anchored at the bottom, hence, the banging sound when moved. Because of this, I give it four out of five stars, as I will have to anchor the slab bottom myself.

This is a good quality piece for a kids bedroom set.

Even though this says it's a dark brown honey color in the description it's really more of an orange color. When I called to set up a return I was told that I would be in charge of the shipping fee because "orange and brown are not different colors like blue and pink." (Whatever that's supposed to mean) and only 1 other customer had returned because of the color. Anyway, the product was actually nice and I wish it would have worked. Too bad the description was off and customer service was so bad. Because of this experience with Overstock I will never order from them again.

After taking off work three times to accommodate the delivery company the dresser arrived damaged. First they lost my dresser and rescheduled one week later, then the delivery companies truck broke down. On the third delivery I got the dresser and the wood was split, the tracks holding the drawers in were broken, it was scratched and dinged. The wood holding in the drawers is a lightweight wood not sturdy enough for the heavy drawers. A major disappointment to say the least. Then when I called overstock to get assistance they refused to help me without my husbands permission since I placed the order in his name. I had to then interrupt his work to get our refund. Save yourself a big headache and don't order this product!

The dresser is exactly as described except that the back panel is a thin board instead of the nice pine the rest if it is. For the price though I think I got more than waht I paid for.

I am pleased with this chest. I was so happy to find it, because it matches my dresser and night stand. The drawers slides smoothly and the finish is superb.
